Are you ready for our season finale Pickleball tournament?
We will be holding the Hillbilly Feud on March 15, 2025 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. This fun event will be a double’s round robin tournament where we will pair 2 different players from the Hatfields against 2 different players from the McCoys in each round.
We will accept the first 28 players in two levels (Advanced OR High Intermediate/intermediate) for a total of 56 players. There will also be wait lists for each level.
Registration will open on February 27, 2025 at 4 p.m.
You must be a club member to play. Be sure you are logged in to register. Determine which level you want to play in and purchase a ticket for that level. Don’t worry, there is no cost involved.
Once we have 56 players signed on, we will divide the players as evenly skilled as possible into either the Hatfields or the McCoys. There will be 14 advanced players and 14 high intermediate/intermediate players on each team. Pa Hatfield (aka Dave Trimmer) and Ma McCoy (aka Jan McCreary) will be the team captains. You will be notified approximately 10 days before the tournament as to which team you are on. You will also know who is on the opposing team. This will allow time for your team to decide if they want to get creative with a team shirt color or ???
On the day of the tournament, the advanced players from each team will play against each other during one round and the high intermediate/intermediate players will play against each other in the next round. You will play 7 rounds each with a bye in between each round. The winning team will be determined by the number of games won. In the event of a tie, the players from each team and in each level with the highest score will play off. The winning team will be awarded coveted Billy Goat medals!
