Message from Joe Carter

Joe sent me this message this morning.

To all of our GC Friends:

It is with great sadness that we are having to leave our beautiful resort without enough remaining time to fully express our love and gratitude to everyone who brought us back to Gold Canyon. Hopefully there will be future visits.

We would like to have demonstrated significant improvement/progress with my cancer but are realizing that my home care is exceeding our capabilities. We will be in our Gold Canyon house until Friday, March 28th, and until then, visitors are welcome. Since this could be joyfully overwhelming, we would like a limited number of visitors at a time. Thank you for all of your love and support.

It appears we have walked the journey as far as it will take us. We are scheduled to return to Madison on March 28th. We hope we can make arrangements to see you all. Home care in Madison will consist of Jan's outstanding caregiving and support supplemented by home hospice.

Thank you all for your unceasing love. You have all of our gratitude and love to share in return. You are the best!
